A table of assets is a document that itemizes all of your potential probate assets—real property, bank accounts, retirement accounts, vehicles, and more—and identifies how each should be titled. This table is included with every estate plan and is essential for properly funding your trust.
During the signing appointment, we will review this table together, discuss each item, and determine which individual or entity should hold title or who the named beneficiary should be. This exercise gives you the information necessary to properly fund the trust and ensure that no assets go overlooked, potentially forcing your family into probate court.
